Transparency in Coverage

In compliance with the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor and Treasury Transparency in Coverage (TiC) rule, machine-readable files must be made available to the public that include negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files (MRFs) are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data. MRFs are monthly documents with content that can be readily processed by a computer but are not readable to humans.
