Cards for Educators
Eligible educators in Skokie schools can get a library card to check out materials for classroom use. Each school provides the library with a list of eligible educators based on the current agreement between the library and the school or district. Use acknowledges understanding of the rights and responsibilities of educator library cardholders.
Cards for students
Students who live in Skokie can sign up for a library card through their school.
Resource Bags
Educator resource bags contain up to 30 fiction, nonfiction, and audiovisual items selected by you or based on a specific topic or topics. The bag is checked out for you to pick up at the library or at a regular bookmobile stop. It may take up to a week for your resource bag to be prepared, but if you need it more quickly please indicate that on the request form and we will do our best to accommodate. Request a resource bag.
Kids Book Discussion Kits
Each kids book discussion kit contains 12 copies of a single title. View a list of available kits and place a hold to request one.
