Lead Your Own Storytimes at Home
March 17, 2020
We're sending you a warm hello from Youth Services at Skokie Public Library!
We are staying home for now to help keep everyone healthy. I know that many of you are, too. We will miss you all at storytimes! Here are some ideas for where you can find stories at home.
First, read together! Parents and caregivers, you are your child’s first teacher, as well as their special people. They don’t care if you read in different voices, with extravagant props, or in 30-minute chunks.
Second, here are some great places to find stories and songs online for free. We’ll be adding to this list frequently, so keep an eye out for more ideas.
