Why are the categories for people of Asian or Pacific Islander descent complicated? What is it like to assimilate? How do people balance multiple cultural identities? The Asian American and Pacific Islander identities and experiences are as multifaceted and complex as the people who reside in these categories.

Join an open conversation about what it means to be under the umbrella of Asian American and Pacific Islander. The discussion will be centered around experiences with assimilation, compromise, and navigating identity. We encourage sharing, learning, and empathetic listening in this session.
