Learn about cybersecurity, privacy, and how to protect yourself when using technology.

We all know about physical safety, but what about keeping ourselves protected in the online world? With all of the opportunity offered by technology and the internet, there also come some vulnerabilities. Get a better understanding of cybersecurity and privacy, and come away with practical, simple things you can do to protect yourself from cyber attacks.

This session will be led by Eric Chan-Tin, a cybersecurity professor at Loyola University Chicago. Participants will walk through cybersecurity hygiene, including creating passwords, using a password manager, identity theft, and phishing attacks, with time for individual questions and answers.
