Learn how the college financial aid process works and get expert help starting your scholarship search.
Learn about student eligibility, how to search for scholarships, how to apply for different kinds of financial aid, and how that money can be used to help pay for college.
You'll become familiar with Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, and other state and federal aid programs. You'll also learn the basics of a scholarship application and get tips on how to submit.
This event is best for high school juniors, seniors, and families. Presented by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, a state agency working to make college accessible and affordable for Illinois students.
