Improvisational Quilting

Tuesday, December 3, 2024
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Business and Community Center

This workshop is great both for those who have been too intimidated to start quilting and for experienced quilters wanting to break out of their comfort zone with improvisation.

Inspired by the classic patterns Log Cabin and Courthouse Steps, we will work quickly by tearing up fabric and sewing together patchworks composed of rectangles and squares. With a bright and varied palette of fabrics, each participant will make creative choices on color and scale to end the class with a unique piece of patchwork.

All materials provided, no experience necessary. We will be using sewing machines, irons, and rotary cutters.

Registration begins November 1.
