Young Steinway Concert: Neena Agrawal, Viola, and Oliver Mah, Cello

Our concerts feature talented young classical musicians. Today, hear violist Neena Agrawal and cellist Oliver Mah.

Violist Neena Agrawal participated in the finals in June at the American Viola Society Festival and Primrose International Viola Competition, a four-day festival at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, followed by the Ascent International Chamber Music Festival in Cincinnati and a weeklong viola workshop held at Oberlin College Conservatory. What an exciting summer for Neena, who is now a sophomore at Northside College Preparatory High School!

Cellist Oliver Mah, a sophomore at Adlai E. Stevenson High School, Oliver made his solo orchestral debut at age 9 playing the Vivaldi Cello Concerto in C Major with the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra. He was awarded honorable mention in the 2023 Walgreens National Concerto Competition Senior Division and is currently a member of the Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra and the Stevenson High School Symphonic Orchestra.
