A School in Cerro Hueso
Inspired by the director’s own family, this story centers on six-year-old Ema, diagnosed on the autism spectrum, as her parents struggle to find a school that will accept their daughter as a pupil.

The family starts a new life in the countryside, relocating from the city to an outskirt town of Cerro Hueso so she can attend a small school on the Paraná River whose staff are the only ones prepared to teach Ema. Embraced by a supportive community and close to nature, Ema begins to engage with the world around her. With Mara Bestelli and Pablo Seijo. Directed by Betania Cappato.

Featuring Emma Zurcher-Long. Directed by Julia Ngeow, Geneva Peschka, and Emma Zurcher-Long.
