Based on the book of the same name, the film follows a service robot that is lost in a typhoon and lands on an uninhabited island, where she learns to become more than she was programmed to be.
The robot ultimately finds purpose and joy through motherhood, family, and friends. Featuring the voice talents of Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, and Kit Connor.
